Coues Deer
The Grey Ghost.
Pursue the elusive Coues deer, known as the "Grey Ghost" of the desert mountains.
Smaller than their northern cousins and twice as wary, Coues whitetails are a glassing hunter's game. Days are spent behind big optics, picking apart oak-studded ridges until antler tips betray a buck in his bed. Our Sonora units hold high densities and a healthy class of 90"–110" bucks, with a real shot at a book head every season.
